Last week, the CDT HUB hosted an exclusive three-day Fund Manager Masterclass workshop organized by Strategy Tools in collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). This event focused on developing skills and strategies in the field of venture capital and attracted a diverse group of participants, from startup founders to seasoned fund managers.

During the intensive program, participants engaged in a simulation of managing an investment fund, developing strategies, analyzing investment opportunities, negotiating exit strategies, and creating value for Limited Partners (LPs). The simulation was designed to faithfully reflect the lifecycle of a fund, allowing participants to confront the challenges and dilemmas faced by real-world investors.

A special emphasis was placed on practical application through teamwork and interactive activities. Participants honed skills in areas such as portfolio construction, fundraising, valuation analysis, and risk management.
